The day started bright and early, with Georgia arriving at the Bridal Suite at 8:00 AM, buzzing with excitement and surrounded by her bridesmaids. The venue’s calm atmosphere made it the perfect spot for all the pre-wedding preparations. Hair, makeup, and plenty of laughter set the tone for a morning filled with shared stories and a few happy tears. Georgia’s dress hung nearby, a reminder of the incredible moment that was just hours away.
Meanwhile, Luke was at home with his groomsmen, sorting out the final touches. Between cracking jokes and making sure everyone’s ties were just right, there was a mix of nervous energy and excitement. It was a morning of laughter, camaraderie, and making sure everything looked spot on.
Back at the venue, the bridal party kept the energy going with a spread of fresh pastries. Between bites and cups of tea, there was plenty of chatter and heartfelt moments, as they soaked in the importance of the day ahead. It was a relaxed, joyful start to what would be an unforgettable day.
At 1:30 PM, the couple exchanged vows in the romantic Tudor Barn of Blackstock Estate. Georgia, radiant in her bridal gown, was walked down the aisle by her stepdad, Lee, to a personally curated playlist. The couple chose a Spotify playlist to add a personal touch, creating a meaningful atmosphere for their day.
The ceremony was a beautiful representation of their journey together, filled with smiles, happy tears, and heartfelt vows.
Post-ceremony, guests enjoyed a lively drinks reception, complete with Passion Fruit Bellinis and beers. Canapés were served shortly after, featuring a delicious selection like mini beef burgers, duck confit cups, and vegetarian kebabs, ensuring every palate was catered to.
While guests mingled, Georgia and Luke took some time for photos across the picturesque Estate, using the charming Blackstock Buggy to navigate the grounds. The weather played its part, providing perfect conditions for outdoor memories.
By 3:30 PM, the wedding breakfast was in full swing. Guests gathered in the Granary for a three-course meal, starting with a choice of Tandoori Chicken Salad or Chargrilled Asparagus and Quail’s Egg Salad. The main course featured indulgent options like Slow Roast Belly of Pork or Roasted Butternut Lattice. The meal concluded with a zesty French Lemon Tart, leaving everyone delighted.
Speeches before the meal added an emotional touch, as loved ones shared stories and toasted to the newlyweds’ future.
The evening festivities kicked off at 6:30 PM as additional guests joined the celebration. The sound of DJ Dave and a live saxophonist, Emma McPhilemy filled the air, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
Georgia and Luke’s first dance, following the cake cutting, was a standout moment, symbolising their unity as husband and wife.
The evening buffet, featuring classic treats like hot dogs, mini fish and chips, and Monterey Jack cheeseburgers, kept guests energised as they danced the night away.
As the clock struck midnight, the music stopped, and the day drew to a close. The estate’s gates locked, but the memories of this magical celebration will forever remain in the hearts of those who attended.
