Location and Accessibility
Blackstock Country Estate is a beautiful countryside wedding and events venue set in the rolling South Downs of East Sussex. Located very centrally, between Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne and Brighton in East Sussex, Blackstock is a beautiful country escape. We’re easily reached by road or rail – Polegate train station is just a ten-minute taxi ride away! And we have plenty of room for coach parking.
Combining classic countryside aesthetics with outstanding modern facilities, Blackstock Country Estate offers something pretty unique. On our 70-acre estate, we have 2 traditional Barns that have been renovated to host for weddings, conferences and parties.
Capacity & Space
At Blackstock Country Estate we have the perfect collection of spaces to accommodate your event. Our barns can take up to 200 guests in total and we offer exclusivity to all bookings.
Both barns have been renovated to combine a classic countryside aesthetic with a luxury touch and modern facilities. This unique blend creates a charming atmosphere that will make your event truly memorable.
Normally it will be the Granary that accommodates the numbers for Prom Night!
We see schools from all around the area for their prom night. The venue is stylish, large and open, the parking is exceptional for plenty of cars as well as coaches. Plus we can keep the bar closed where necessary, as it will most likel be a non-alcohol night!
How we can help
Ordinarily, our venue is hired out by couples looking to celebrate their wedding day with us. We take on a large amount of the responsibility of wedding planning with the majority of our couples.
We are more than just a venue, we like to be involved during the planning stages as well. This way your students get the prom that will stick in their minds forever. From high quality catering to seating arrangements, music as well as audio equipment, we can help you every step of the way. We have some excellent suppliers who can dress the room, provide live music, a DJ, photographer, videographer, photobooth…whatever you need for your prom to go off with a bang!
We have our own in-house caterers who provide delicious bespoke food and drink for all occasions. Our catering team have the ability to offer finger food, BBQs and hog roasts, right the way through to a full five-course meal if required. We’ll work with you to create a bespoke menu, or you can choose from one of our pre-set options.
