"Myself and my wife got married there this October. The staff were amazing. From the first visit to the end of the night. Whenever we had questions or concerns, we would email them. And within a day or so we had our answer.The food. Ohh my good god the food was fantastic. I cannot overstate this. The food is AMAZING.They was very lenient with us as we gave the final number only 4 weeks before the day. But this is because we have just had a baby. "We had our wedding day at Blackstock on the 24th February 2024. I don’t know where to begin! We had the most perfect day from start to finish. The whole day ran so smoothly, the staff are so friendly and attentive. Our wedding co-ordinator Rebecca was so helpful, she assisted us right from when we booked to the day, she was with us for the whole day and made sure everything was exactly as we wanted it. We decided on BBQ food for our meal - this was amazing and all of us were stuffed! For our evening reception we had the venue close to full capacity, the bar staff were brilliant and kept up with all the orders! "‘We really cannot recommend Blackstock Country Estate highly enough after hosting our wedding at the venue in September 2021. From the first time we visited Blackstock we knew it was the venue for us with their relaxed and professional approach immediately putting us at ease when making such a big decision. From the start, Blackstock worked with us to accommodate our every wish, from bespoke menu choices and luxury accommodation to table plans and helping us to organise a sunset photo shoot. Everything felt so personal and dedicated to us, with Betty in particular doing everything in her power to make our day run as smoothly as possible. It was extremely clear to us from the beginning that Blackstock Estate specialise in hosting weddings. From providing a golf buggy to drive us around the grounds for photographs, to helping us move our cards and presents into our accommodation at the end of the night, nothing was too much trouble. A significant proportion of our guests informed us that Blackstock had provided ‘the best wedding food’ they had ever eaten, to which we also agree! With 110 guests in attendance we were astonished to see and hear that every single meal was served to perfection. We really did have the most perfect day and the wonderful, polite, organised, friendly staff at Blackstock had a huge part to play in the day’s success. We truly had the most incredible wedding and really cannot praise Blackstock highly enough. "Having such a big wedding the food was the most expensive part for us and it took a while to get our heads around. Having been to weddings before and seeing the portions it all felt pretty disheartening. When the food came out on the day we could not believe that they were actually very generous portions and then upon trying the food we were blown away. The food was all delicious and guests throughout the day and since have said it was some of the best food they have ever had at a wedding and we agree very much with this. People also commented on how quickly it was served and how hot the food was considering the number of guests. All the waitresses and waiters were great and happy to help.
