Welcome to Blackstock Country Estate, a stunning venue perfect for film, tv and photoshoots. We have some incredibly picturesque landscapes and a pair of beautifully restored barns that have already been featured on the popular television show “Married at First Sight”.
We are excited to offer our unique space to other productions as well.
As Seen on “Married at First Sight”
As mentioned above our venue was featured on the hit TV show “Married at First Sight”. Our spacious grounds and beautifully restored barns made it a breeze to accommodate a large-scale film crew. We’re proud to say that we provided a seamless experience for everyone involved. Our team worked closely with their production team to ensure all their needs were met, from parking and catering through to lighting solutions.
The Married at first Sight Reunion was held at Blackstock Estate in 2022 and their team had the entire estate at their disposal, including all our luxury accommodation. They used both barns and decorated them throughout. It had a Christmas theme and the barns looked amazing once finished.
Our acres of stunning landscapes paired with the wide variety of indoor and outdoor spaces offered the director a great scope for filming as well as photography.
It was an amazing few days.
Our Estate
Our Estate is perfect for any event or production. With two rustic barns, a charming courtyard and over 70 acres of rolling Sussex countryside all on our doorstep Blackstock Estate is the ideal backdrop for Film, TV, and Photoshoots.
Both our barns have unique features that make them perfect for a variety of uses. The smaller of the two barns, The Tudor Barn, has a cosy and intimate feel about it. The atmosphere you are able to capture is second to none.
The Granary, the larger of the two barns, boasts a wealth of rustic features. From a sandstone floor through to the exposed beams and vaulted ceilings.
In addition to our larger spaces, we have lots of little romantic nooks that are perfect for intimate moments or photo opportunities. With plenty of hidden gems waiting to be discovered, there are heaps of opportunities with our grounds.

Having hosted and planned many events here in the past, we believe that what separates us from the rest is having everything you need in one place. That’s why we’re proud to offer not only stunning event spaces, but also an in-house catering team and accommodation for over 20 people.
Catering
Our in-house catering team is led by a skilled head chef who takes advantage of the local produce to create fresh, delicious seasonal menus. From appetisers to entrees, our catering team will create tailor made menus that work for your production and your crew. We are more than willing to accommodate for any dietary requirements or tastes. Whether you’re looking for a buffet style lunch to keep the production crew fed or a more elegant sit down dinner, our team can do both excellently.
Luxury Accommodation
In addition to our catering services, we also offer comfortable on-site accommodation for over 20 people. Our beautifully appointed luxury cottages and suites are the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day of shooting or celebrating. Each room is tastefully decorated and comes equipped with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and plush bedding.
Our accommodation options include a mix of private cottages and shared suites, ensuring that we can accommodate groups of all sizes. Whether you’re looking for a cozy room for two or a spacious suite for a larger group, we have something to suit your needs.
