Our two restored barns and 70 acres of peaceful estate provide a wonderful setting for all kinds of private events and celebrations.
Combining classic countryside aesthetics with outstanding modern facilities, Blackstock Country Estate offers something pretty unique. Each of our barns can take up to 200 guests, and can be hired separately or together. Our grounds are full of easy paths and walking routes which offer a great way for your guests to get a bit of fresh air.
We partner with Fine Foods Catering to provide delicious bespoke food and drink for all occasions. We can do finger food, BBQs and hog roasts, and even full five course meals. We’ll work with you to create a bespoke menu, or you can choose from one of our pre-set options.
We can assist you with seating plans and themed decorations, and can also help you source and set up audio-visual equipment.
We’re easily reached by road or rail – Polegate train station is just a ten-minute taxi ride away, and we can recommend a few local hotels and B&Bs should any guests wish to stay.

The Tudor Barn
The Tudor Barn is a beautiful piece of restored rural history. It enjoys expansive views over our 70 acre estate and has excellent facilities within. From its magnificent chandeliers made from antique cartwheels, to its graceful oak beams, it feels rustic yet modern.
The barn is 500 years old, but comes complete with an excellent bar and modern furnishings that do not sacrifice its ancient character.

The Granary
The Granary, which was converted in 2014, is expansive in size. It has a wide mezzanine floor and its own private courtyard which leads to the estate. The size and shape of The Granary means it is exceptionally flexible and can be used for all kinds of occasions.
