Here you can meet the main team that are so important in the running of our many beautiful weddings…

Chrystelle Warburton

Operations Manager

Chrystelle is our lovely French Operations Manager.  She oversees every single one of our projects starting with some of the initial wedding viewings, to the delivery of the events.

Some of our clients have called her “The Google of weddings”, and she really lives up to these expectations.  Chrystelle has brought with her over 25 years of experience in wedding catering and event management.  Planning our events under her guidance is the safest pair of hands our team and clients could all be in.

 

Rebecca Varney

Wedding Co-Ordinator

Rebecca joined the Blackstock team in December 2020 and was selected above and beyond all candidates due to her Events Management skills and outstanding qualifications.  Rebecca has gained years of experience in some of the most prestigious established wedding venues in the South East.

Her attention to details is second to none, no stone will be left unturned for your event and Rebecca will personally ensure your day meets your highest expectations.

Betty Mathues

Wedding Co-Ordinator

Where do we start with our amazing Betty?  Betty has travelled the world and organised events and weddings in numerous countries over the years.  Our multi lingual wedding coordinator is a fabulous asset to Blackstock Estate and her organisation skills are second to none.

Betty is hands on with all our events and is very well known in the wedding industry for her friendliness and caring approach.  Betty will be the greatest asset to your wedding planning.

Richard Tompkins

Head Chef

The success and popularity of Blackstock Country Estate is in a large part due to the quality of our food. Richard has been delivering some wedding dishes to remember for the past 20 years, and his experience in the events catering world is second to none.

“Best wedding food we have ever had”, “How do they do it?”, “Never thought such delicious dishes could be served at a wedding”.

It takes knowledge, expertise, commitment, but most of all passion… And the most fantastic head chef!

Matthew Pritchard

Sous Chef

Our fantastic Sous-chef Matt is a very big part of our kitchen.  Working hand in hand with Richard and the rest of the kitchen team, Matt’s 15 years of catering experience shows in all the finishing touches.

Edible flowers, garnish, fabulous continental platters, canapes to die for, Matt is the best at ensuring that every dish leaves the kitchen with a “wow”.

If you are lucky enough Matt will also cook you Breakfast the day after your wedding! And THAT, is not to be missed.

Charlotte Mott

Front Of House Manager

Charlotte is the friendly face that you will need to look out for on your wedding day.  Our food and beverage staff will follow her caring guidance throughout the day, and will ensure that all your guests are looked after from start to finish.

Co-ordinating the entire day from start to finish is her mission, and she simply excels at it. From your guests arrival to the very last dance, Charlotte and her team will be a very big part of the most important day of your life.

Loraine Manning

Front Of House Manager

Yet again another incredible asset to the Blackstock Country Estate team.  Loraine’s experience in Front of House management goes back years.  We have lost track of the number of weddings that she has led.

Loraine takes every single one of our events to heart, and she will make it her personal duty to ensure our couples and their guests have the day they all deserve. She will personally oversee the build of your event, ensuring everything is set up as planned.  Her job is done when you are happy.
