If you book with us, you can have exclusive access to our stunning country barn wedding venue in Hellingly, East Sussex. Sitting splendidly in our grounds are two beautiful restored barns, The Tudor Barn and The Granary. Both barns are beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated, they can also be adjusted to suit your theme.
With over 70 acres of picturesque grounds including meadows, lakes and the Cuckmere river, Blackstock has much to offer. With a view of the Weald and the South Downs National Park, you are truly spoiled for choice for your wedding photographs!
Guests will also have the opportunity to explore and enjoy our grounds and facilities. These include beautiful walks around our lakes and down to the Cuckmere river, that meanders through the valley.
Here at Blackstock Estate, we are also extremely fortunate to have plenty of luxurious accommodation onsite and within easy walking distance.
Whether you are looking for a place to stay on your wedding night with your close friends and family, or just book a romantic getaway, pending availability, we have got many options for you.
We have four available buildings; The Goat Shed, The Farmhouse, The Tudor Cottage and The Flint Cottage. All of this accommodation offers a luxury secret escape. Furthermore, it means that you don’t have to travel anywhere on your wedding day, making it both magical and as easy as possible for you and your guests.
On your big day, we will ensure you are being looked after from start to finish.
We have a beautiful make-up room that is available for the bride as well as anyone else who requires it; whether that’s mums, bridesmaids or friends, we will do our very best to accommodate all.
The ceremony will be held in the Tudor Wing where drinks and canapes can be offered to celebrate your connection. The Tudor Barn is a stunning venue to be married in – with lights, colour, style and romance.
Nothing will ever be rushed here, giving everybody ample time to really enjoy the beautiful moment.
The Granary will be tastefully decorated with endlessly unique drapes, fairy lights, foliage and festoon lighting, all of which you have decided upon; with our assistance if you require it.
Our friendly banqueting team will deliver the finest food for your guests to enjoy and remember, and the wines will be flowing through to your speeches.
You will then be invited to return to the Tudor barn for your evening reception. This is where you can have some more guests arrive to join you in some more celebration of your love. There will be music, singing, dancing as well as an evening buffet of your choice.
For a very short period, we are also offering a huge discount of £1000.00 off of your venue hire for 2022!
If you book your wedding with us before 31st December 2021 on selected dates in 2022 (including a couple of weekends) then you will save a whopping £1,000 on the cost of your wedding venue. This is a great deal… but act fast because the dates are filling up very quickly.
