Since the lifting of restrictions, we have been getting back into the swing of weddings – and boy are we busy! However, we are enjoying every second of it here at Blackstock Country Estate. For more than 10 years now, couples have chosen to put their trust in us to create the wedding of their dreams and we really appreciate that so many people are enjoying what we can offer.
Our estate is the perfect place for a wedding – the Sussex countryside is just unmatched.
It is so important to get the location of your wedding right. You can find us in Hellingly, East Sussex. We are close to both Tunbridge Wells and Brighton – perfect if you wish to escape the hustle and bustle of a big town for a big beautiful country estate. We have many couples travel down from London – they are set on a barn wedding venue and that is what we offer!
The estate itself is also surrounded by the most spectacular views. Did we mention we also have unmissable sunsets?
Both our Tudor Barn and Granary are idyllic locations to begin your wedding journey with us.
The Tudor Barn is a restored 500 year old Sussex Barn, perfect for couples who desire a rustic wedding day. The ancient beams pair so elegantly with the more modern features – all finished to a very high standard.
In the barn, there is everything and more that you need to celebrate your special day. A perfect space for the actual ceremony and also for a spot of dancing later in the evening The Tudor Barn is equipped with a fully licensed bar.

The Granary is a converted traditional barn, which can seat up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast. The floor to ceiling windows open up to spectacular views of the landscaped gardens and countryside. With elegant stone floors, it is just the most stunning room for all to enjoy.

Here at Blackstock we are fortunate enough to have our own in house catering. Our chefs have vast experience in weddings, creating bespoke menus tailored to you. We value the quality of exceptional food – which is why we only use the finest ingredients, locally sourced where possible.
From canapes to desserts we can provide everything to ensure you have the best day possible.

Blackstock Country Estate is proud to be a venue available to everyone and we also love to co-ordinate weddings for same-sex couples. We believe that a beautiful handcrafted wedding should be available to everybody, traditional or otherwise.
We would love to welcome you to Blackstock Country Estate for a viewing. However, please bear in mind that most dates in 2022 are now booked up – with only a select few remaining. If you are planning to get married in 2023, get prepared now as our calendar fills up fast!
We have the most conveniently located accommodation for your wedding guests, offering “manor house” style accommodation with 6 double bedrooms, as well as a self contained bridal suite. Plus then a boutique luxury selection of cottages, set in the idyllic Sussex countryside, and surrounded by open meadows and peaceful walks around our lakes.
