Back in 2022, Voirrey and Gavin chose to have their wedding at Blackstock Estate. Everything went smoothly, and the day was absolutely amazing! The Bride and Groom looked fantastic together, and the guests had a great time. Here is a sneak peak into how it went….
At 9am, the Voirrey arrived at the Bridal Suite to start the process of getting ready with Amberfield and Louise Hair. The feeling in the air was joyful, and laughter filled the room, feeling the excitement for the day ahead. The hair and makeup process was complete, and then Gavin arrived to the Flint Cottage, where he would be getting ready. Anticipation was filling the air for them both, and they were eager to have the moment they’d been waiting for, for what seemed like forever
Before long, guests started arriving, welcomed by DJ Dave and an open bar. After about an hour of chatting amongst themselves and preparing for the big day, it was time for everyone to be seated for the ceremony. As it was July, the Bride and Groom opted for the outdoor ceremony option, taking in the warmth and the gorgeous surroundings.
The couple opted for both the Bride and Groom to walk down the aisle, as opposed to just the Bride. They each had both parents by their side, which meant there was not a dry eye in sight! The couple were delighted to see each other, and could hardly contain their excitement. They were sung down the aisle by the DJ , before the celebrant, Claire Bradford, declared them officially husband and wife.
After the Bride and Groom walked back down the aisle, hand in hand, it was time for the reception. Guests were offered delicious canapes of baby Cumberland sausages with honey, sesame seeds, and real tomato ketchup, mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef and horseradish, mini vegetarian quesadillas, and onion bhajis. The food went down well, and guests were very content.
While the guests were enjoying the scrumptious food, Voirrey and Gavin were off to take some photos (don’t worry, some of the canapes were saved for them)!
Just look how stunning these photos by Domenika Miechowska are!
After that, it was time for the wedding breakfast. Their menu looked fantastic, check it out!
Starters: Tandoori Chicken Salad OR Wild Mushroom Risotto
Mains: Cider and Mustard Pork Tenderloin OR Mediterranean Mille Feuille
Desserts: Lemon Posset OR Vegan Lemon Posset
At the end of that mouth watering meal, three tear-jerking speeches were given, as guests were served tea and coffee, and of course bubbles!
At 7pm, more guests arrived, ready to party. DJ Dave kept the tunes going, and everyone had a fabulous time. People were having a boogie, taking photos in the photo booth, and making the most of the open bar! A little while later, the Bride and Groom cut the cake, and then had their first dance, which was so romantic.
After all the dancing and partying, guests were a little peckish, so out came the evening buffet – a fajita bar!
Guests were fed and happy, and they danced the rest of the night away. It really was a day to remember!
