Tori & Patrick decided to opt for a Saturday for their wedding, which worked really well for them. They also chose to spend the night prior to the wedding with us at our on site 3-bed cottage, making their day as easy as possible.
As with all our weddings, they had exclusive access to the Tudor Barn, which made a wonderful location for their beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. The spacious barn allowed for guests to mingle, while fabulous photographs were taken by Teri Vincent.
The couple chose prosecco for the welcome drink for guests arriving at 14:00, with the ceremony starting at 15:00.
The groom and his team of groomsmen all sported matching blue tuxes with the bridesmaids dresses were in a wonderful light pink tone that matched with the ties of the groomsmen. Everyone looked fabulous.
Beautiful is an understatement when trying to describe the ceremony. With magical fairy lights wrapped around the old barn’s beams, it really emphasised how special the day really was for everybody involved. Some amazing photos were taken throughout.
At 15:30 the guests were invited to take their seats for the announcement of bride and groom as Mr & Mrs Hall in our Granary, the second of our two fabulous barns. Which was followed by a wonderful three-course meal that was enjoyed by all.
A wonderful menu choice:
Bocconcini, vine tomato and balsamic onion salad, pesto dressing (V)
Chicken liver parfait, red onion marmalade and white toast
Butternut Squash, sweet potato, spinach and Stilton Filo Strudel, grilled pear and rocket salad, roasted pepper coulis
Marinated and slowly cooked English pork belly, roasted garlic mash, heritage carrots and pan gravy
Apple crumble tart, soya vanilla ice cream and toffee oat cream sauce
Apple Crumble tart, vanilla pod ice cream and custard
After the food and speeches were all finished the Tudor barn was prepared for an evening of dancing and having fun!
The happy newlyweds cut their wedding cake and saved a couple of pieces for themselves from each tier.
The guests were all offered an evening buffet of mac & cheese or a taco station was also available, both with a wide range of toppings, which everyone was delighted with.
The DJ played into the night and created a wonderful vibe to round off an amazing day.
