On the 22nd of May of last year, Samantha and Phillip selected our venue to mark their momentous occasion. The stunning backdrop of Blackstock Estates’ two barns and its breath taking surroundings created a picturesque setting for their unforgettable celebration. Here is a glimpse of how their day unfolded, filled with beautiful moments that will be cherished forever.
Early in the morning, Samantha and her lively bridal party arrived, brimming with excitement, ready to enjoy our onsite bridal suite and makeup room. There was an infectious buzz of laughter and smiles as the girls got ready for the big day.
Our venue infused the day with a wonderful energy, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the bridal party. The best part was having everything right there on site. Once everyone was all glammed up, they could kick back and relax with a bottle of bubbly. And to make it even sweeter, our in-house catering team whipped up some mouth-watering pastries and fresh fruit, adding a delicious touch to their pre-wedding celebrations.
Samantha & Phillip’s ceremony looked spectacular. Samantha’s beautiful bouquet really complemented her stunning bridal gown, and other delicate flowers surrounded the barn. You could clearly see the couple’s vision come to life.
When Phillip stood at the end of the aisle looking proud and smart in his Naval uniform, he looked every bit the handsome, expectant groom, waiting for Samantha to make her entrance. As they exchanged their heartfelt vows, the room was filled with an overwhelming sense of emotion. Their words resonated deeply, touching the hearts of everyone present. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight – it was a moment of pure, genuine love shared among cherished friends and family.
Following the ceremony, Samantha and Phillip stole away from the crowd to have a private photoshoot with the talented photographer, M.D Knight. Meanwhile, their guests enjoyed delightful canapés and drinks provided by our in-house catering team. During this intimate session, Knight expertly captured the genuine moments and tender exchanges between the newlyweds.

After the photoshoot, Samantha and Phillip re-joined their guests for a wonderful meal prepared by our dedicated catering team. As Mr. and Mrs. Angell made their grand entrance, the room filled with applause from their delighted guests, setting a wonderful tone for the meal that awaited them.
There was a wide variety of food on offer from starter to dessert, here’s a glimpse of some of the culinary delights they enjoyed:
AROMATIC DUCK SALAD with a cucumber, spring onion, pickled mooli and sesame seed salad. with a hoi-sin and plum dressing, pomegranate and coriander
MELTED BAKED CAMEMBERT, infused with rosemary, thyme and garlic, served with a plum and apple chutney, baby leaves and sour dough crostini
SUNDAY ROAST: Roast Chicken Supreme, Duck Fat Roasted Potatoes, Honey Roasted Parsnips, Cauliflower Mornay, Selection of Seasonal Vegetables, Pan-Fried Gravy & Yorkshire Puddings.
PASSIONFRUIT POSSETT, served with fresh berries and shortbread biscuit
As the sun set, Samantha and Phillip cut their gorgeous wedding cake and shared a romantic first dance. The DJ’s playlist kept the night alive, and guests enjoyed a scrumptious buffet to keep them well fed. The evening was magical, everyone had a blast, and it was a perfect end to their special day.

The breakfast was fantastic and set us on our way to the airport nicely. From start to the very finish (finally!) Blackstock has been exceptional! We will also look back on this day with the fondest of memories.”
