Natalie & Gazelle’s Wedding at Blackstock Estate

Natalie & Gazelle’s Ceremony and Reception at Blackstock Country Estate

Last year we had the absolute joy of being introduced to Natalie & Gazelle. The whole team fell in love with this pair, their bubbly and excitable attitude to the day as a whole made working with them a pleasure. From the initial planning stages through to the day of their wedding itself, we were always just a phone call away.

This couple had great energy together and were so much fun. Hopefully, we helped create a day they could cherish.

Natalie’s Bridal Suite

Natalie was lucky enough to have full exclusive access to our Bridal Suite and makeup room in the morning before her big day. This gave her the space to properly relax and prepare herself for the amazing day ahead. The bride, mums, bridesmaids, as well as any other chosen guests, can have their hair and makeup done here if required. Being on-site also meant that once Natalie was ready, she could change and relax as our Tudor Barn was just a short walk away. Using our fabulous bridal room allowed everyone to get ready together and helped kick-start the day with excitement.

Gazelle prepared herself in our beautiful Tudor Cottage where they returned to later, as a married couple.

Their Ceremony

To put things simply, their ceremony was perfect. Both brides looked stunning in their gorgeous bridal gowns. The pair of them truly stole the show and looked gorgeous.

Their ceremony took place in our Tudor Barn, which was fantastically adorned with beautiful white flowers draped from the rustic support beams. The flowers paired with the white aisle runner really helped push the white theme they wanted for their day. It created an atmosphere of grace, which perfectly complemented the couple.

Post Ceremony

After the ceremony had concluded all their guests were offered a selection of canapes and drinks whilst the newlyweds slipped away for a photoshoot. We really try to emphasise the importance of this moment to all our couples. Getting to share a few private moments with the person you have just married is a true privilege. What’s even better is that all these moments are caught on camera, making reminiscing that much more special.

These lovely photos were taken by one of our regular wedding photographers, Teri V Photography

The Menu

Once the shoot had concluded the happy couple were seated in the Granary Barn in preparation for the wedding breakfast. There were several speeches delivered before the meal that produced a flurry of emotions for our couple. It’s clear that there’s a really tight-knit bond between this group of family and friends.

The couple did an excellent job of deciding upon a menu. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Here’s what was served by our in-house catering team:

TANDOORI CHICKEN SALAD, Tender chicken breast with traditional Tandoori flavours, served on a bed of iceberg, white cabbage and scallions salad, with mango and mint yoghurt.

FEATHERBLADE OF BEEF, in a red wine jus, served with roasted red onion and truffle mash

DARK CHOCOLATE MALTESER MOUSSE, in a chocolate cup with chocolate drizzle and fresh berries

Our in-house catering team also produced a delicious vegetarian option consisting of a WILD MUSHROOM RISOTTO, FETA FILO TART and a RICH CHOCOLATE BROWNIE. Some non-vegan guests even went for this option! It was so well received.

Evening Celebrations

Once everyone had finished their meals they were invited back into the Tudor Barn where a fully stocked bar was waiting in preparation for an evening of celebrations! The final few of the couple’s evening guests arrived and the celebrations began. Their impressive wedding cake was cut followed romantically by their first dance as a married couple.  This was an extraordinarily intimate moment for the couple, we hope they treasure it forever.

When things finally came to a close Gazelle and Natalie made the short walk to the Tudor Cottage, their luxury accommodation for the night. The small tucked-away cottage gave Natalie & Gazelle the opportunity to properly digest their day, as a married couple! We have a wide range of onsite accommodation that can be booked for any family and friends, making the journey back to their bed as easy as possible.

Words From The Bride

“My wife and I got married on 15th Oct 2022 at Blackstock. The day went very smoothly and the staff were amazing.

The setting and location are just the most perfect. Our guests were crying before we even got to the aisle stating it was the most beautiful set-up they have ever seen at a wedding. We were told that it reminded them of a scene from Romeo and Juliet. The staff looked after us very well from planning our wedding all the way through to the day. We stayed in the accommodation the night before and the night of our wedding and again, it is just amazing. Very clean and well-situated.

We could not have asked for a better venue. Also, the food was out of this world, our guests were blown away by the quality of the food that was served.  They catered very well for us (the brides and vegan guests) as we are vegans and met all our needs. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone that is planning on getting married. You will not be disappointed. Just PERFECT.”
