On the 20th September 2024, Megan and Joseph tied the knot at their beautiful autumn wedding at Blackstock Country Estate. The day was filled with so much love, laughter, and memories shared with their closest friends and family.
The rolling hills and rustic charm of the venue provided a picturesque backdrop for a day that was nothing short of magical. From the heartfelt vows to the lively evening celebrations, every detail reflected the couple’s deep love for each other and their vision of a perfect wedding day.

Our stunning bride, Megan, arrived to the bridal suite at 9AM, joined by her bridesmaids. Emma from Spence & Oliver worked her magic on their hair and makeup, ensuring that everyone in the makeup room felt their best. This was a great opportunity for Megan and her bridesmaids to chat, relax, and get excited, anticipating the fun ahead of them.
As Joseph and his groomsmen arrived at 11AM to get ready, joy filled the air, and the countdown to the big moment really began.
Finally, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived. At 1PM, Megan and Joseph exchanged vows in the stunning Tudor Barn, and there was not a dry eye in sight. It was the perfect celebration of the couple, and everyone could feel the love in the air.
DJ Dave set the perfect mood with music, making the ceremony even more special. Afterward, the newlyweds stole a quiet moment in the Goat Shed, sipping prosecco and enjoying delicious canapés before rejoining their guests. This gave them a chance to soak up everything that had happened, and savour their first few moments as husband and wife.
And how about their stunning Mustang – what a beauty!
The reception kicked off with prosecco and a delicious selection of canapés, including halloumi and red pepper kebabs, mini toasted quesadillas, and onion bhajis. Guests mingled while the Blackstock buggy whisked the couple away for a photoshoot with photographer John Scofield, capturing every beautiful moment of the day.
Mike, the best man, announced the arrival of the Bride and Groom back to the party, and everyone looked forward to the feast that awaited…but not before speeches! After some emotional words from the Groom and three others, it was time to eat.
The wedding breakfast in the Granary Barn was a true highlight. Guests tucked into a three-course meal featuring chorizo Scotch eggs and baked camembert to start, followed by rosemary and lemon chargrilled chicken or traditional roast beef with Yorkshire puddings. Dessert was just as yummy, with options like baked cheesecake and warm sticky toffee pudding. To wrap it up, tea, coffee, and mints were served.
By 6:30 PM, the evening guests had arrived, and Megan and Joseph cut their wedding cake before sharing their first dance – a magical moment made even better with music from DJ Dave. The Tudor Barn transformed into a lively dance floor, complete with a photo booth and an electric atmosphere. Later, a gourmet burger stall kept everyone fuelled for the night’s festivities. The venue looked absolutely breathtaking thanks to Joanna from Inspiration Décor, who added elegant styling.
As the clock struck 11:00 PM, the music softened, and the celebrations came to a close. Megan and Joseph, now officially husband and wife, headed to the charming Goat Shed for their first night together as newlyweds.
