We have had some amazing photographs for this wedding, courtesy of Teri V photography. So we have added lots into this blog so you can get a real feel for this fabulous wedding that happened back in September. Louise & Adam got married with us and opted for a smaller, more intimate wedding on a Thursday, which worked perfectly for them.
Louise arrived at 8:00 am and decided to take full advantage of our beautiful makeup room. This really does start the day with love and excitement. On top of this, a breakfast of bacon rolls and croissants were served for all at 9:00 am. The bride, mums as well as bridesmaids and any other chosen guests can have their hair and makeup done if required. Being on-site also means once you are ready, you can change, relax and don’t need to travel anywhere – bliss!
Adam arrived slightly later at 12:00 pm, sporting a sophisticated dark grey suit with deep crimson accents that matched with all of his groomsmen. Louise looked equally remarkable in her stunning dress. It’s safe to say the bride and groom both looked incredible on their big day.
Our beautiful Tudor Barn had never looked so good, with wonderful white flowers and fairy lights wrapped around the rustic beams supporting the barn. It really showed how extra special the day was for everyone involved. There was a strong theme of white for the ceremony which made the event look magical and just perfect.
Lots of wonderful photographs were taken and everyone enjoyed spending time on the Blackstock patio areas, with all the fabulous Sussex countryside views that we are proud to have. Louise and Adam chose to provide a selection of outdoor games that were played and enjoyed by all.
A wonderful sounding guitarist, Tom Butterworth, played until everyone had ventured back inside The Granary and seated for their meal.
At 3:30 everyone was seated for the wedding breakfast and an announcement of the newly married Mr and Mrs Ball. It truly was a joy-filled moment for everybody.
Louise and Adam chose a lovely three-course meal that was thoroughly enjoyed by all:
Goats cheese, roasted butternut squash and artichoke tart, baby spinach and rocket salad, salsa verde dressing and toasted pine nuts
VEGAN Mediterranean Antipasti
Duo of Beef; fillet steak, brisket bonbon, roasted yellow beetroot, caramelised mash with red wine jus
Portobello mushroom – wilted spinach, roasted pine nuts, served on Mediterranean roasted veg with light parmesan cream
A trio of desserts – Chocolate brownie, Lemon tart and Vanilla cheesecake
Vegan brownie
After all the food and speeches were finished the Tudor Barn was filled for an evening of dancing and fun! With music being provided by singers Richie and Dan, they really helped set the mood for the Bride and Groom’s first dance.
The newlyweds cut their beautiful cake, saving half for them to take home and keeping the decorative squirrel!
The evening guests were all offered a buffet of sandwiches and wraps, sausage rolls and brie & cranberry tarts, which everyone was delighted with.
We really enjoyed working with both Louise and Adam and we wish them both our very best wishes for their happily ever after.
