With weddings catching up from the last 18 months, Lauren & Craig decided to opt for a Thursday which worked really well for them. A small and intimate wedding was chosen which was a great success.
Lauren decided to use our beautiful make up room with all her bridesmaids. This really does start the day with love and excitement. The bride, mums as well as bridesmaids and any other chosen guests can have their hair and make up done if required. Being on-site also means once you are ready, you can change, relax and don’t need to travel anywhere – bliss!
Craig arrived at 11 with the rest of the bridal party starting to come to Blackstock for 12.30 for a 1.30 ceremony in the Tudor Barn. Otis Lawrence performed background music for all to enjoy.
Some amazing photographs were taken throughout; everyone looked fabulous!
Our patio is always a popular choice when the weather is good. With bucks fizz being served as well as soft drinks, the happy couple were able to wander off to have a few important photos taken!
After a selection of canapes, the guests were asked to enter the Granary where their 3 course meal was served.
Buffalo Mozzarella, heritage tomatoes, confit red onion, rocket, balsamic pearls & basil infused oil or
Crab and prawn cocktail with avocado mousse, baby gem, pink grapefruit, cherry vine tomatoes & bloody marie sauce
Chicken supreme, olive mash, mild garlic fine beans & roast chicken gravy or
Tempura halloumi, falafel cake, roasted provencal vegetables & rocket pesto sauce
With wedding cake for dessert – great choice!
A DJ and saxophonist, Otis Lawrence had been chosen for the evening which went down really well with everyone.
Lots of dancing, drinking, chatting and laughing occurred here…
Lauren & Craig opted to stay with us, along with quite a few other guests. They had our Tudor Cottage which has a grand four poster bed, with others staying on-site in luxury as well.
We had a lovely day with Lauren and Craig and wish them the very best of luck for the future.
The photographer for the day was Teri V Photography – as you can see, some amazing photos were taken and these are but a few.
