Kexia and Ben chose to have their wedding ceremony as well as reception at Blackstock Country Estate on Friday 3 September 2021. It was a beautiful day and everything ran really smoothly. With exclusive use of both the Tudor Barn and The Granary, Kexia enjoyed having use of the make up room, with Ben arriving a little later.
The ceremony was beautiful and all handpicked by the couple. Then they wandered over to The Granary to be welcomed in by all their guests.
A two course menu was enjoyed; consisting of either lamb shank, slow cooked in red wine, garlic and rosemary, served on creamy crushed potatoes, or a roasted butternut lattice with chickpeas and red onion. Both being as delicious as each other! With lemon posset or a vegan brownie for dessert, plus tea or coffee.
Lots of wonderful photographs were taken, everyone enjoyed spending time on the Blackstock patio areas, with all the fabulous Sussex countryside views that we are proud to have. With much laughter and a few drinks drunk, all the guests later ventured back into The Tudor barn to dance the night away to their chosen DJ. Fish and chips as well as bacon baguettes were the chosen evening food for guests!
Kexia and Ben had booked the four poster bridal suite, along with The Goat Shed, the Cottage and also the Blackstock House for the rest of the guests.
It was a fabulously perfect day for the couple and we wish them all the luck in the world!
