Joanna and Alex had their wedding reception with us on Saturday 9 October, after their church service in Seaford. The theme for the day held touches of red, with flowers including red roses, the bridesmaids dresses were a glorious autumnal tone as well as matching ties with the groomsmen.
The couple chose Pimms as their welcome drink, with orange juice as an option. This was held in our stunning Tudor Barn where guests could mingle, while photographs were taken by Jessica Bevan Photography.
Guests were then invited into The Granary for their Wedding Breakfast.
A wonderful menu choice:
Chorizo Scotch quail egg, crispy pancetta, heritage tomato salsa & frisee salad
Vegan Scotch egg. aubergine bacon, heritage tomato salsa, roasted pepper dressing & curly endive salad
Roast sirloin of beef, duck fat roasted potatoes, heritage carrots, Yorkshire pudding, watercress pesto & red wine jus
Roasted butternut lattice, spinach, chickpeas, red onion & feta in puff pastry, with a smoked paprika tomato sauce
Triple chocolate brownie, salted caramel ice cream & dark chocolate sauce

After all the fabulous speeches, chatting and the meal was complete, guests wandered back over to the Tudor Barn for an evening of dancing and lots more fun.
Evening guests had the delight of enjoying hot dogs with Olde English sausages and Monterey Jack cheese burgers, plus a vegetarian option.
Juke Box Junkie supplied the evening entertainment, which went down very well with everybody.
All our accommodation was booked by the party, which was all thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Joanna and Alex booked the Tudor Cottage with four poster bed. With parents, family and friends making the most of the rest of the Blackstock Estate rooms, including the 3 bedroomed self catering cottage and also the Goat Shed, as well as our glorious Farmhouse rooms.
