We are throwing it back to 2019 when Jamie & Adam celebrated their gorgeous wedding at Blackstock Estate. It may have been a few years ago now but this beautiful wedding still blows us away at how incredible the whole day was.
Jamie arrived at Blackstock at 8am and enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast with her bridesmaids whilst getting ready. She had a beautifully soft natural makeup look with an elegant up-do and flower garland in her hair. Her whole look matched the elegant theme of the wedding with the subtle floral touches throughout. Jamie had the most beautiful white lace wedding dress with a slight train. Her bridesmaids all wore soft peachy pink dresses, all matching the fresh floral theme.
The day guests arrived at 12pm where they could enjoy the bar before the ceremony began. At 1pm the ceremony commenced in The Tudor Barn. Jamie made her way down the isle to her husband to be, Adam.
Adam was waiting with a huge smile and dressed in a smart navy suit with a pale pink boutonnière to complement Jamie’s makeup and bridesmaids. As the ceremony came to a close the bar re-opened and the guests made their way to enjoy some drinks and canapes.
Whilst the guests enjoyed their refreshments, the newly weds snuck off for their first photos together as husband and wife. Tony Elife, the photographer for the day, really captured the love of this couple and took full advantage of that June summer glow. Not only did he take some beautiful pictures of this happy couple but he also got some great photos of Jamie & Adam’s family and friends.
After the photos it was time to toast to a beautiful marriage. Everyone had glasses of prosecco to raise whilst the speeches were made. Then it was time for the fantastic 3-course meal Jamie & Adam had chosen for the evening.
Chicken and wild mushrooms in creamy pinot grigio sauce, served in filo basket, crispy leeks
Roast sirloin of beef, dauphinoise, red wine jus, season
vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, horseradish sauce
Wedding cake sliced and served to tables
Limoncello Shots be given to guests to be drunk after toast
After a delicious meal and socialising with the guests, it was time for the bride and groom and everyone else to head to the dancefloor and dance the night away. DJ Dave had set up his decks and had all the best music to end the most perfect day. The bar was busy and everyone was having a lovely time dancing and celebrating the newly weds.
As the night drew to a close and it was time for the bride and groom to rest their heads (and dancing feet).
They stayed in our gorgeous Tudor Cottage. They enjoyed a restful nights sleep and then had a delicous breakfast provide for them and their family members who also stayed in The Farmhouse.
