At the start of June, Blackstock Estate welcomed the most gorgeous summer wedding filled with love, laughter and colour! This was Jake & Jed’s Wedding at Blackstock Country Estate.
Jake arrived to our beautiful Bridal Suite at 12pm to get himself ready. He enjoyed breakfast in the Bridal Suite and got himself ready to walk down the aisle to meet his husband to be Jed. Jed was getting himself ready in the Tudor Barn.
At 3pm the ceremony began, both grooms walked down the aisle one after the other and then began to say their vows. The Tudor barn, where the ceremony was held, was beautiful. It was decorated with gorgeous flowers and fairy lights, with nods of yellow throughout to match Jake & Jed’s yellow touches in their flowers and outfits.
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed some canapes and drinks whilst Jake & Jed slipped away to get some beautiful photos throughout the grounds. They had the wonderful Matt Ebbage as their photographer, who managed to capture the love and laugh the newlyweds share.
Jake & Jed’s then headed into The Granary to enjoy their delicious wedding breakfast which consisted of a beautifully crafted menu.
Here’s a sneak peek at just some of the culinary delights they savoured:
HERITAGE TOMATO AND MOZZARELLA SALAD, with a basil dressing and
balsamic glaze.
FETA FILO TART, filled with feta cheese, red onion marmalade and wilted
rocket leaves and leaves, served with a white wine and tomato sauce.
BAKED CHEESECAKE, with fresh raspberries and white chocolate sauce.
After a delicious wedding breakfast, it was time to dance the night away in our Tudor Barn. Now was the time for Jake & Jed to take the first dance as husband and husband and celebrate their love for each other. All their family and friends then joined in with the dancing and truly celebrated this wonderfully flambuoyant wedding. As the evening drew to a close it was time for everyone to head home and for the newlyweds to enjoy a night in our cosy Tudor Cottage.
