On 29th of April, Jade and Aaron tied the knot with us here at Blackstock Estate. This beautiful spring wedding began with the gorgeous bride getting ready with her bridesmaids. They enjoyed glasses of bucks fizz whilst getting their hair and makeup done by the wonderful Grace Benson. The beautiful bride-to-be had a soft glam look with a smokey shimmery eye look.
The exchanging of vows and the ‘I dos’ took part in our beautiful Tudor Barn. The whole room was decorated from top to bottom with white flowers and green foliage with twinkling lights. This radiated a fresh spring atmosphere and fitted the couple’s love for each other perfectly. Jade made her way down the aisle in a breathtaking white gown, where she was greeted by her soon-to-be husband in a black suit and grey tie, which suited Jade’s makeup perfectly.
Once the couple had exchanged beautiful words and officially tied the knot it was time for everyone to begin getting ready for the next exciting part of the day, but not before some incredible photographs were taken.
Between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast was time for some photos photographed by the wonderful Samantha Pells Photography. This gave Jade and Aaron a few moments to have some intimate photographs taken of just the two of them, as well as some larger group and fun photographs that they could cherish forever.
Once everyone was ready to be seated in our fabulour Granary, the delicious wedding breakfast was served.
Chorizo Scotch Egg with crispy pancetta, heritage tomato salsa and
roasted pepper dressing
Mediterranean anti-pasti , artichokes, chargrilled courgettes and
aubergines, roasted peppers, sun-blushed tomatoes, marinated
olives, fresh mozzarella and extra virgin olive oil dressing served with a
parmesan grissini.
FEATHERBLADE OF BEEF, in a red wine jus, served with roasted red
onion and truffle mash
Root Vegetable Tagine, Served on a bed of fragrant couscous,
delicately flavoured with cumin and oregano and finished with thick yoghurt
with fresh mint and coriander
French Lemon Tart served with a lemon drizzle
Passionfruit Possett, served with fresh berries and shortbread biscuit
Honey and mustard cocktail sausages
local cheese and crackers
samosas & onion bahjis
Selection of mini pork and meat pies
Selection of sandwiches to include ham & mustard, cheddar & pickle, egg & cress
vegetable and duck spring rolls
Warm Sausage rolls
The evening guests arrived and the bar was open. So it was time for everyone to get their dancing shoes on and celebrate the newlyweds! The music was playing, everyone was dancing and the evening celebrations were in full swing! But, before the dancing started it was time for the bride and groom to cut the cake and then enjoy their first dance as husband and wife.
And finally, the most magical day came to a close. It was time to kick off those dancing shoes and enjoy a restful night in our beautiful Goat Shed. With magical views of the grounds and all the amenities the bride and groom could ask for, it was the perfect end to a perfect day. And we hope Jade and Aaron had a wonderful time. Wishing the bride and groom a lifetime of happiness.
