With two wonderful restored barns, luxury accommodation and in-house caterers, you can stay the night before, prepare for your big day here and then be married and celebrate after, knowing you do not have to leave once!
The Tudor Barn is where you will be married. This is a large L shaped barn and you can walk from the Bridal Suite straight here without even stepping foot outside. This stunning barn has beams, lights and a glorious atmosphere that you can enhance with your preferred colours. Walk down the aisle to your partner to be, with all your loved ones looking on and wishing you all the luck in the world!
The Granary is where you will host your Wedding Breakfast and this is a large spacious barn with stone floors and some really special additions. It is a beautiful room with large glass barn doors where you can make a spectacular entrance.
While you are in The Granary enjoying your meal, we will be busy converting The Tudor Barn into your evening venue, so you can move seamlessly between both, without even noticing.
We have exceptional caterers in-house who will guarantee you love your food choices! Whatever your dietary requirements we will serve delicious and stunning looking food, from the canapes to the starters, mains through to desserts. Just fabulous food that everyone will remember.
If you want to be married outside, then we can accommodate this and have held some wonderful weddings in our grounds. The British weather, however, can make this more of a challenge, so please talk to us when you enquire as to your thoughts and ideas.
There is a large open patio area that is always really popular with our guests. Here you can enjoy the sun and the wonderful views over the Sussex Downs, including our famous sunsets! If you would like to, then we have often seen activities set up here including mini golf as well as garden games. And don’t forget you can hire our play barn if you want to keep the kids entertained.
The grounds of our estate are just glorious. With acres of garden, woodland and fields, we have a lake and some really pretty locations for some privtae and intimate wedding photographs. We even have alpacas, horses and other other animals so please ask if you would like your photos taken with any!
This is something really special and most of our brides take full opportunity to use the Bridal Suite. It is a lovely bright area where you can invite your bridesmaids and anyone else you want to join you. Here you can enjoy a continental breakfast, a few glasses of bubbles as well as invite your hair and makeeup team to come and get you all ready. it really is the most special time for a bride and her immediate party.
We have a really versatile accommodation layout. if you want to go traditional then our Tudor Cottage has a four poster bed – a really romantic suite for you. Or if you prefer to be completely separate from everyone, the Goat Shed is ideal as this is completely self contained with bi fold doors overlooking our estate.
The Farmhouse and the Flint Cottage can sleep many more of your bridal party for both the night before as well as the night after the wedding. Please chat with our Wedding Co-Ordinators about what your thoughts for this will be.
We only ever have one wedding at a time at Blackstock Estate. Even though we have two barns, the venue will be totally yours.
