Throw back to a gorgeous end-of-summer wedding in 2021, when Emma & Matt tied the knot! Let’s dive into Emma & Matt’s wedding at Blackstock Country Estate. The weather may have been overcast but the whole day oozed a magical ambience that had a slight nod to autumn. Emma arrived bright and early to use our bridal suite to get herself and her bridesmaids ready. She looked absolutely stunning, Emma had a glowy, golden makeup look with a subtle black winged liner that complemented her eyes perfectly. Matt also got himself ready to greet his bride, wearing a dark grey suit and beautiful emerald green tie.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, with the Tudor Barn being decorated with the most magical decorations to perfectly complement Emma & Matts’s theme. There were turquoise tones sprinkled throughout, and even the rain added to this mystical wedding. Emma and Matt proudly said their vows and “I dos” and became husband and wife.
After the ceremony, it was time to take some incredible pictures throughout the grounds. Emma & Matt’s photographer was Anthony Hazelden, and he created a beautiful combination of black and white as well as colour photographs. You can see how well he captured Emma & Matt’s love for each other, resulting in some beautiful lasting memories!
Emma & Matt then headed into The Granary to enjoy their delicious wedding breakfast which consisted of a beautifully crafted menu.
A diverse array of dishes, ranging from appetisers to desserts, awaited their enjoyment. Here’s a sneak peek at just some of the culinary delights they savoured:
CHICKEN CAESER CROQUETTES, crispy pancetta, romaine lettuce and spinach puree
SLOW COOKED MARINATED PORK BELLY, fondant apple, cassis red cabbage,
wholegrain mustard mash and cider jus
SUMMER TRIO OF DELIGHTS, strawberry pavlova, lemon tart and blueberry financier
The ceremony, photos and delicious breakfast were done and now it was time to dance the night away in our Tudor Barn to complete their fantastic wedding day. The newlyweds celebrated with friends and family and enjoyed their final hours. When the evening finally drew to a close, it was time for Emma & Matt to stay in our cosy Goat Shed.
