In May 2023, Blackstock Country Estate hosted a stunning spring wedding, filled with joy, warmth, and charm! This was Ellie & Tom’s wedding at Blackstock Country Estate.
Ellie arrived at Blackstock early in the morning to get ready in our beautiful and charming bridal suite. After enjoying a relaxed breakfast with her bridal party, she began her preparations, filled with excitement for the day ahead. Both Danielle and Kim from Makeover Box were in attendance, ensuring all hair and make up looked fabulous!
Meanwhile, Tom arrived later at 12:30 pm, eager to meet his soon-to-be wife.
The couple enjoyed the beautiful Tudor Barn for their ceremony, which was decorated with personal touches from the couple. At 2pm, Ellie made her grand entrance, walking down the aisle to meet Tom, and they exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony filled with love. Their personal playlist provided the perfect soundtrack, making the moment even more personal.
After the fabulous ceremony, guests were invited to the drinks reception, which began at 2:40PM. The bar opened with a selection of refreshing beverages. Canapés were served, providing a delicious assortment of welcome bites, with special ones set aside for the bride and groom to enjoy after their photo session. The Blackstock Buggy was also on hand, ready to transport the couple for some stunning photos around the estate, adding an extra touch of magic to their day.
Ellie & Tom took a few moments to themselves, exploring the picturesque grounds of Blackstock Estate with their photographer, Sarah Williams Photography, capturing the essence of their day. The estate’s lush surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for these beautiful memories.
The couple and their guests were then seated for the wedding breakfast in The Granary. Ellie & Tom had opted for a delightful menu that catered to all tastes and dietary requirements.
Here’s a sneak peek:
Tandoori Chicken Salad: Tender chicken breast with traditional Tandoori flavours served with a mango and mint yoghurt dressing.
Roast Beef: Medium-rare roast beef served with Yorkshire puddings and pan jus.
Vegetarian Tagine: A delicious root vegetable tagine served on fragrant couscous with mint and coriander yoghurt.
Guests enjoyed the meal with house wines, and Ellie & Tom took a moment to thank everyone for being part of their special day. And the wonderful Dillies Doughnuts were a smash – everyone loves a doughnut and these really are something else!
The evening celebrations kicked off as 25 more guests joined the couple in the Tudor Barn, where DJ Dave set the mood for an unforgettable night. Ellie & Tom enjoyed their first dance, surrounded by family and friends. Then an evening buffet of fajitas was served, allowing guests to refuel for more dancing and celebration.
As the evening came to a close, Ellie & Tom’s guests headed home, leaving the newlyweds to enjoy a cosy night together in the Goat Shed, reflecting on a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
