As the spring flowers began to peek through at Blackstock Estate we welcomed the most beautiful April wedding. On Friday 12th April 2024 we celebrated the most magical day filled with love and laughter. This post is all about Demi & Kieran’s Wedding at Blackstock Country Estate.
Demi arrived in our beautiful Bridal Suite at 9am ready to get her hair and makeup done by Beautique Beauty. Demi went for a gorgeous glowy base makeup with warm tones to her eyes to really make them pop. She also had soft waves throughout her hair and accessories throughout such as pearls and flowers. Demi looked absolutely stunning and so did her whole bridal party.
At 2pm the ceremony began, Demi made her way down the aisle to be greeted by Kieran who was dressed in a deep grey suit with a blush pink tie and matching flowers to Demi’s bouquet. They both looked amazing and co-ordinated the entire spring blush pink theme of the wedding. This fantastic couple said their vows and went from “nearly weds” to “newlyweds”!
As the ceremony came to a close, it was time for the guests to enjoy some drinks and canapes whilst the Bride and Groom snuck off for some photos by the wonderful Ebourne Images. The photos captured the love Demi and Kieran have for each other, with images taken all around the grounds. The beautiful spring flowers certainly made many appearances throughout their wedding photos.
Demi & Kieran then headed into The Granary to enjoy their delicious wedding breakfast which consisted of a beautifully crafted menu.
Here’s a sneak peek at just some of the culinary delights they savoured:
AROMATIC DUCK SALAD
With a cucumber, spring onion, pickled mooly and
sesame seed salad. with a hoi-sin and plum dressing, pomegranate and
coriander
FEATHERBLADE OF BEEF
In a red wine jus, served with roasted red onion and truffle mash.
WARM STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING
Smothered with a rich caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream
After a delicious meal in our Granary, it was time to head the The Tudor Barn to dance the night away with all their friends and family. Our Tudor Barn was decorated perfectly to celebrate this couple’s wedding theme. Demi and Kieran had their first dance as husband and wife and then everyone else joined in to celebrate their fantastic day. As the evening drew to a close it was time for the guests to leave and the people staying in our accommodation to wander back. The bride and groom enjoyed a romantic night stay in The Goat Shed and it was time to finally rest those dancing feet as husband and wife.
