On the 21st of July, Danielle and Daley tied the knot with us here at Blackstock Estate. This beautiful summer wedding began with the gorgeous bride getting ready with her bridesmaids in our bridal suite. They enjoyed glasses of fizz whilst getting their hair and makeup done. The beautiful bride-to-be looked amazing and fully prepared for the wonderful day ahead of her.
In our lovely Tudor Barn, vows and ‘I dos’ were exchanged, creating a magical atmosphere. The entire space glowed with white flowers, green foliage, and twinkling lights, evoking a fresh spring feeling, capturing the couple’s love effortlessly. Danielle, dressed in a stunning white gown, walked down the aisle and was welcomed by her future spouse.
After the heartfelt exchange of words and the official union, preparations for the upcoming event began. But first, captivating photographs were captured, freezing the moment in time.
During the interval between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast, the very talented photographer John Scofield captured many precious moments for them both. This provided Danielle and Daley with an opportunity to have private, intimate photos taken of just the two of them, along with some lively group shots and fun photographs that would become cherished memories for a lifetime.
Following the photo session, Danielle and Daley rejoined their guests to indulge in a delectable meal meticulously crafted by our devoted catering team. As Mr. and Mrs. Clark made their glamorous entrance, the room erupted in applause from their ecstatic guests, creating a delightful atmosphere for the meal that lay ahead.
A diverse array of dishes, ranging from appetisers to desserts, awaited their enjoyment. Here’s a sneak peek at just some of the culinary delights they savored:
CHORIZO SCOTCH EGG with crispy pancetta, heritage tomato salsa and roasted pepper dressing
SLOW ROAST BELLY OF PORK, sage and onion scented pork belly, served with crisp crackling, wholegrain mustard mash and port
ROASTED BUTTERNUT LATTICE, Roasted butternut, spinach, chickpeas, red onion and feta in puff pastry, with a smoked paprika tomato sauce
PASSIONFRUIT POSSETT, served with fresh berries and shortbread biscuit
With the arrival of the evening guests, the bar opened, signaling the start of the lively celebrations. It was the perfect moment for everyone to put on their dancing shoes and join in the festivities honouring the newlyweds! Music filled the air, but before the dancing commenced the bride and groom took centre stage to cut the cake, followed by their unforgettable first dance as a married couple.
At last, the enchanting day drew to a close. It was the moment to slip off their dancing shoes and embrace a peaceful night in our exquisite Goat Shed. Offering enchanting views of the grounds and equipped with every amenity the newlyweds could desire, it marked the ideal conclusion to a flawless day. We sincerely hope Danielle and Daley had a splendid time and extend our heartfelt wishes for a lifetime filled with happiness to the bride and groom.
