Just 20 miles away from Blackstock Country Estate lies the stunning historical town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Royal Tunbridge Wells lies right on the border of East Sussex and West Kent, and shares some absolutely beautiful countryside with us. Some of the loveliest countryside in England, in our view! The town is one of our favourite places in the area. With beautiful architecture, some great shops and restaurants, and some stunning High Weald countryside, there’s not a lot it lacks.
Thanks to our position an easy drive away from Royal Tunbridge Wells, a lot of couples from the area decide to have their weddings with us. We offer a stunning rural venue that is easy for guests to find. “Now that things have calmed down on behalf of the newlyweds and myself I just want to say thank you to Gill and the team for the great job you did for Hannah and Drew’s wedding on Saturday. We’ve had so many compliments on the gorgeous venue, the great food, the atmosphere of the place and the way the day ran.
Florin and Sarah worked very hard to ensure everything was as seamless as possible – even when I managed to mislay the key to the 3 bedroom cottage half way through the evening! (luckily my daughter had it as I gather there isn’t another one on-site). Sarah didn’t seem at all ruffled, bless her.
Your security guard (I’m afraid I can’t remember his name) was also great, extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough to help – even bringing a jug of milk to the accommodation – I’m sure that’s not in his job description! I would like to finish though by saying a huge thank you once again. The day itself was fantastic and the staff worked hard to ensure that. If the weather stays good we’ll be bringing little Winry for another visit on a Sunday while the newlyweds are on their Honeymoon.
