Blackstock Country Estate are one of the most popular barn wedding venues in East Sussex. With not one barn but two stunning barns at our venue – and we let you use both of them! We have acres of beautiful Sussex countryside which make for amazing photo opportunities. Being situated where we are, also means we can enjoy the most amazing sunsets as well – just glorious!
We have two barns and we have separated them for two aspects of your wedding. The Tudor Barn is where you will be married, if you want your ceremony with us. The Granary is perfectly laid out for your wedding breakfast. Then we invite you back to the Tudor Barn, where you can enjoy your reception well into the evening. This way, the day for you and your guests is seamless and you will never notice us working away in the background.
When you get married at Blackstock Estate, you will be married, either in our Tudor Barn, or for a very temporary time, you can be married out in our gardens.
Here you can enjoy the beauty of our rustic 500 year old Sussex barn, incorporating ancient traditional frames and structures with modern finishings and facilities. It has a rustic, yet modern feel and is maintained at an exceptionally high standard. The Tudor Barn is L-shaped so makes for a really grand entrance for the bride as she ventures down the aisle to her future partner and love of her life. This is an intimate yet spacious barn and guests will love the atmosphere within this wonderful old building.
Once the ceremony has taken place and everyone has been outside on our wonderful patio enjoying the views, we invite you into The Granary, where you can sit, chat with everyone further, as well as enjoying some amazing food, created by our in-house team of expert chefs. Our catering menu is delightful and you certainly will find it hard to choose your menu! Some fabulous choices here.
The Granary is our second barn and can seat up to 120 guests. With a sandstone floor and exposed beams as well as a fabulous mezzanine, we are so proud of our barns; for beautiful barn wedding venues in East Sussex, we think we have the best!
Once the meal has been finished, speeches laughed at with a few tears shed in the process, we will then ask you to make your way back to the Tudor Barn, where any entertainment will be raring to go! Whether it is live music (and we have seen so many amazing bands!) or a DJ who will get you up and dancing all night long. This is where you will spend your evening…back where it all began!
Your photographer is totally welcome to spend the whole time with us, snapping hundreds of great photos of you, your guests, the venue, the food…everyone just having the most amazing time!
