Murder Mystery Night at Blackstock Estate

‘Twas the weekend before Christmas, and all through the grotto;
Not a creature was stirring, but there’s prints in the snow…

It seems someone has forgotten the rule of the mouse to keep quiet, and whoever has been stirring has killed off Mrs Claus in the Helix Garden centre grotto! As the centre tries to keep its festive cheer and carry on, Inspector Rutherford is determined to get to the bottom of who’s been on this year’s naughty list, before it’s too late. 

Join Moonstone Murder Mysteries and Blackstock Estate for an evening of Christmas themed Murder Mystery, packed with plot-twists, suspicious suspects and plenty of red herrings along the way! You are the detectives, and it’s your job to crack the case before it’s too late.

Starters

Gravadlax, smoked salmon and prawn trio, served with lemon dressed pea shoots and rocket leaves

Smoked Ham Hock terrine served with Piccalilly and toasted brioche

Fig, walnut and Roquefort salad, with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic dressing (V)

Cajun spiced sweet potato soup with chilli oil croutons (V)

Main Courses

Traditional roast turkey with a sage and onion stuffing, duck fat roasted potatoes and pigs in blankets served with a rich pan jus claret jus.

Festive featherblade of beef, slow cooked in a shallot and red wine jus, served with truffle and roasted red onion mash

Saffron loin of cod, served with sun blushed tomatoes, chickpeas and spinach fricassee, saffron potatoes and a lightly curried sauce

Roasted parsnips and butternut, cranberry and chesnut Wellington, served with a parmesan cream sauce (V)   (All our main courses will be served with a medley of seasonal vegetable)

Desserts

Traditional Christmas Pudding served with a Brandy custard

Selection of Christmas cheeses with grapes, crackers and chutneys

Santa’s rich chocolate brownie with a berry compote and vanilla cream

St Clement posset served with a homemade shortbread
