Gabriella and Benjamin got married with us back in April, and it was a beautiful wedding. Here’s a look back on the celebration…
The day started at 8:45 AM, when the Bride and Bridesmaids arrived in the bridal suite, ready to have their hair and makeup done by Beauty Ninjas. They had some prosecco, and talked excitedly about the day ahead! Each of the Bridesmaids had matching robes, the same colour as their dresses, while the Bride wore white. Everyone looked gorgeous, and the photos were fabulous!
Then, at 10 AM, the Groom arrived to the Groomsman’s room, where he freshened up with his closest friends and prepared for the exciting day ahead.
The big moment was fast approaching. Guests had started arriving at 1 PM and were making the most of the open bar. In an emotional moment, Gabriella’s dad saw her for the first time with her hair, makeup, and dress on; all ready to be walked down the aisle.
Then it was time for the ceremony, and the excited couple greeted each other with big smiles on their faces. Happiness and joy filled the room, as everyone got to witness these two wonderful people getting married, and this was amplified by the beautiful décor by Joanna at Inspiration Décor. It wasn’t long before the officiant said the magic words, and pronounced them husband and wife!
Walking back down the aisle, arm in arm, guests blew bubbles for Gabriella and Benjamin, making some really lovely photos.
By 2:45 PM, it was time for the canapés, but there was no time for that for the Bride and Groom, as they were off to get some more photos with John Scofield. Making the most of Blackstock Estate’s grounds, they posed by the lake, in the fields, and even made the most of the golf buggy!
After all the wonderful photos, Gabriella and Benjamin were getting hungry, so at 4 PM, guests were seated, and the Groom made his speech. It was emotional, funny, and well thought out.
Finally, the wedding breakfast was served, and guests enjoyed a lovely dinner of:
Starters: Chorizo Scotch Egg OR Roquefort and Shallot Tartlet
Main: Rosemary and Lemon Chargrilled Chicken OR Root Vegetable Tagine
Dessert: Passionfruit Posset
After their delicious meal, the Father of the Bride, and the Best Man both gave speeches, as guests were served prosecco (or orange juice for non-drinkers). And before long, evening guests had arrived, greeted by DJ Dave.
Gabriella and Benjamin cut the cake, and then had their first dance, taking in the fact that they were officially married. Guests danced the night away, fuelled by the fajita bar, taking pictures in the photobooth and enjoying the celebration.
It really was a night to remember.
